The Mildred Ball Stancil award was established in 1981 by Lynn Stancil Buchanan and Hal Stancil to honor their mother, Mildred Ball Stancil.

The award is given to the CSA Team that exhibits the best sportsmanship during the CSA City Championship Meet each year.
