Schools almost out and
its just about time for our first meet!
CSA reps, here are some
important reminders about completing and submitting results for the News
and Record and the CSA website:
- The HOME
TEAM is responsible
for filling out and submitting the form used to send meet results to the
News & Record and CSA website. Please include this position on your volunteer sign up sheet. IDEALLY, this person is someone who is computer literate and has no problems using email or MS Word.
- The News & Record is publishing all first place finishes as well as 3-event winners. It is ABSOLUTELY IMPERATIVE that this form be filled out correctly and emailed
by 9am on the day following the meet. Forms should be emailed to lkfritz@uncg.edu. (That's a lowercase first letter L, not the digit 1)
- The website form
is as you remember from years past. It has been updated to include new
teams. Please download a "fresh" form
here: http://www.greensborocsa.org/forms.htm
- Read the directions on the
form. Be sure to double check the following BEFORE submitting the form:
- you
have
entered first and last names of all first place swimmers,
- you have entered
a final score and indicated the winning team, and
- you have carefully
checked
(and re-checked) to be sure you have listed all of
the 3-event winners. Last year, angry parents called me day and night
to
get omitted
3-event winner information
corrected.
- Make sure the
form is attached to your email and make sure you have provided contact
information in the event there
is a problem with
the results you have
submitted. 6. Save the file as a .doc if possible
(and not a .docx). Mac users, do whatever you have to do to make sure
I can open
and read the form on a Windows
machine. I know this is possible, because folks have
been successful with it in the past, but I DO NOT KNOW anything
about
how to make it work.

not sure, let a Windows user take care of the form.
